RIP Steve Jobs

Standard

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.”
– Stanford commencement speech 2005

As I was sitting here, typing this post during my planning period, a parent walked by in the hallway and then stopped, stuck her head in, and thanked me for teaching her child. She said he was so excited about learning to draw those owls and her refrigerator was covered with his pictures. She loved that he had found something he enjoyed so much. And THAT is why I know I am in the right place, doing what’s right for me!!! I ❤ Art! 🙂
